Raw Vegan Walnut Meat

Home Recipes: Raw Raw Vegan Walnut Meat

Ingredients:

  • 2 C walnuts
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 TBS chili powder
  • 1 TBS cumin
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/8 tsp chipotle powder
  • 1/8 tsp sea salt
  • 1 yellow or orange bell pepper (chopped small)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 red onion, minced

Instructions:

  1. Pulse walnuts in food processor until chunky. Do not over process!
  2. Pulse in remaining ingredients until well mixed.

DON’T OVER PROCESS! If you do, you will end up with a Pâté. It will still taste delicious if that happens, so remember; there’s no mistakes in the kitchen!

You can also enjoy Vegan Walnut Meat in a romaine leaf or collard green for a burrito or a raw taco! We call them Rawcos! 🙂
